Echoes of the Frozen Carnival

In the winter of 1957 a scientific detachment sent to a drifting Arctic radio station answers a distress call from an impossible traveling carnival stranded on the ice. Between swirling blizzards, a tight-lipped barker, broken automata lit like neon constellations, and whispers on the shortwave, the crew's rational reports unravel. As the expedition grapples with frost, mechanical nightmares, and wartime paranoia, they must solve a sinister showman's secret before the polar night swallows them - and whatever stalks under the snow finds the station's generators humming.
