The White Brain Project
In 1959, a secret government lab trains men as psychic soldiers—'brainwave conditioning' using crude cathode-ray monitors and electroshock. Recruits are sent on a field test: a treacherous trek across an uncharted polar glacier to break enemy minds and unlock telepathic command. Snow, radio static and creeping hallucinations turn comrades into rivals. Supernatural dread and military method collide as the ice seems to think. When the final transmission cuts out, only rumors of mysterious footprints and a burned telegraph note remain—proof that some experiments should never leave the lab.
