Last Broadcast: Meteor, Monster, Mayhem

In the summer after Apollo, a flaming meteor slams into the Atlantic off Cape Harlan, crippling coastal radio and triggering national hysteria. News vans, Navy destroyers and a hand-picked crew of sonar technicians, bathysphere pilots and a renegade marine biologist descend to chase blips on tape—something vast moving beneath the thermocline. They discover a metal-rich meteor has roused an ancient leviathan, its mythic bulk attracted to radio waves and ship propellers. As Cold War fears and TV broadcasts stir panic, the team must outwit brass, seas and the creature in a high-stakes undersea quest.
