Phantom Airship and Tomb

In 1947, ex-RAF pilot turned newsreel man Jack Hale and archaeologist Dr. Miriam Sayeed pry open a forbidden desert tomb and find a strange alloy disk etched with winged glyphs — the emblem witnesses now swear they saw on a ghostly, zeppelin-like craft gliding over city lights. As government agents smother the story and rumor of 'mystery airships' runs rife, the unlikely duo chase leads from Cairo bazaars to fogbound hangars, confronting ancient rites, wartime secrets and a sky-machine that may be neither wholly human nor wholly dead.
