Hollow Bay Conspiracy

comic1975
1975. When fishermen haul up a tooth the size of a coffee can, ex‑Navy diver Mae Calder and a muckraking reporter follow sonar pings and CB chatter into Hollow Bay's fog. The town's boosters—mayor, motel owner and a secretive drilling consortium—insist the swell is only "bad weather." As oil‑slick rumors, reel‑to‑reel tapes and post‑Watergate mistrust surface, the duo pieces together a monstrous reef guardian disturbed by offshore prospecting. Civic pride masks a federal hush‑up; to find the beast they must outsmart suits, sirens and their own small‑town ghosts.
