Patrolmen of the Atomic Carnival
In the chrome-slick highways of 1958, State Patrolmen trail a cursed carnival that materializes in the atom-scarred wasteland beside the new interstates. Neon rides spin under fallout-tarnished skies; jukebox tunes warp into eerie static as motorists vanish into funhouse mirrors. Armed with radios, radar, Geiger counters and gumshoe grit learned at the drive-in, the patrol confronts a ringmaster who trades in cold-war fear and dirty secrets from test ranges. They must stop the carnival's hypnotic lure—or be ticketed for eternity in a sideshow of ghosts and government lies.
