Project Somnus: Night Bureau
In 1976, a disgraced sleep researcher and an urban occult investigator collide when patients begin reporting shared, invasive nightmares. Backroom labs hum with reel-to-reel tape and analog EEGs as a covert 'Somnus' program resurrects MK-era dream experiments. The investigator chases sigils in subway tiles while the scientist decodes REM patterns; each dream-harvesting breakthrough summons an occult pattern in waking life. Racing against a paranoid state apparatus and a secretive cult, they must unweave a conspiratorial tapestry where memory, ritual and stolen dreams become weapons.
