Cult of the Clockwork Planet

In the grim aftermath of the war, a secret brotherhood of black-robed financiers and politicians invokes ancient rites to seize command of the Clockwork Planet—a vast, man-made globe of steel and vacuum-tube minds built in secret to house industry and 'electronic' life.
