Beneath the Iron Sky

In 1947, after the Great Air Wars, an abandoned coal shaft beneath a ruined industrial town harbors a radium-warped leviathan. When sky-alliances scorch the earth and armored convoys crisscross shattered highways, a brave ex-miner, an intrepid newsreel cameraman and a woman chemist probe the black pit. They must unmask whether the beast is a primeval terror or the byproduct of mankind's tinkerings before the war-machine grinds the world to dust. A cliff-hanging pulp of menace and melancholia, equal parts gothic horror and speculative warning.
