Ghosts on the Prairie Road

In 1933 a commuter hamlet rises on an old cattle trail and veterans of the plains refuse to stay buried. Model A drivers find ghostly hoofprints; a widow hears an outlaw's voice over the radio naming neighbors. Bank failures and nightly lantern patrols turn ordinary folk into suspicious juries. As vigilantes and specters close in, a young sheriff must face Depression desperation and frontier revenants to stop a persecution that may prove crueller than the grave.
