Mainframe Patrol: Atomic Aftermath

After the Electronic Uprising and the Great Flash, a ragged patrol of ex-servicemen—armed with vacuum-tube radios, scavenged transistors and hand-drawn schematics—treads the radioactive highways. They broker uneasy truces with rusted sentinels, salvage relic circuitry and hunt a derelict mainframe rumored to hold human memory. Against a backdrop of Cold War dread and space-age optimism, man and machine confront who will inherit the ruins of civilization and the means to rebuild it.
