Sky Corsairs of Sputnik Dawn
In a pulp‑charged 1961, transatlantic air‑corsairs command rocket‑gutted dirigibles, looting broadcasts and radar secrets as a droning 'Sputnik' sky signals an extraterrestrial armada’s arrival. Newsreel narrators, jittery scientists and a lone test‑pilot‑turned‑pirate chronicle the first days of invasion: jet fighters scramble, tape‑deck transmissions expose traitors, and smoky hangars hide alien engines that feed on radio waves. Equal parts serial adventure and Cold War parable, the film records Earth’s ragged defense — and asks whether freedom will be won by hand‑to‑hand courage or the crackle of a single transmitted truth.
